Hitting

With LJ Hatch

We provide one-on-one hitting sessions for all ages. Each session starts with a comprehensive evaluation of the hitter, focusing on mechanics, strategy, approach, and managing stress and anxiety in the batter's box. From this assessment, we create a personalized improvement plan.

Our approach emphasizes small adjustments that we test to refine techniques. Utilizing our Hack Attack Machines, we simulate realistic game speeds and challenge adjustments in high-pressure scenarios. This method ensures that every hitter maximizes their skills and can carry these adjustments into games.

Group Sessions

Small group training at The LAB KC offers the personal attention of one-on-one instruction with the added benefits of learning, communicating, and competing alongside your peers. Our one-hour sessions, limited to just four players, foster a competitive atmosphere and help shape the culture we value at The LAB KC.

Our mission is to build a culture that challenges and disciplines every hitter to strive toward their full potential. Part of that discipline comes from staying focused and engaged while working in a group setting, even when distractions arise. Each group hitting session emphasizes purposeful reps—where players actively communicate with coaches and teammates about what they’re working on—ensuring that every swing has intent and meaning.
